He does cover Doncaster as I'm pretty sure he covers race days in that area. He has done a vetting for me and was thorough. There is also Moorhouse vets I think . They have a few decent vets.
I think both manual and power tools have their place. Power tools without sedation could cause significant harm should the horse decide to suddenly spook etc- probably one reason why an EDT likes to use sedation (I believe in the US this is standard practice).
As the others have said, a month tends to be the norm. It's possible even with her own facilities she may have no stable for the pony.
I would let the owner find another person to loan rather than get caught up in it, especially if the pony has damaged your daughters confidence.

Hooves don't have a shop now- just a trailer they take to shows, so if you look on their Facebook site or the Western Equestrian site for shows then you could browse their stock by attending a show or clinic they are visiting.
Otherwise ring someone of the other on line suppliers to find out...
Following this thread with interest as I am also in the same position- but my boy travels quite well. He does not like to do the turn in the side loading 3.5 ton box though, which is a shame.
