Why make this a bigger deal than it should be? Restrictions have been made on hospitality and non essential retail.

Defo, I wouldn’t be using a rain sheet now on my horse. He’s a TB with an Irish clip. He’s in a 200 at night. I don’t like going to heavy too soon or else you’ll have nothing more for the bitter winter nights
For those using pig/baby oil, what do you do after a few days when the mud has built up? Is it really that easy to just brush off or Do you wash off and reapply? I’m concerned I’ll then be rubbing surplus mud into the area :confused:

My horse has already got MF scabs. I’ve tried wrapping g the area with cling film and sudocream but because it’s so low on the bulbs of his heel, as soon as he walks the clingfilM just rides up.

I’m in Somerset. We pay £75 per month for 24/7 turnout, stable, barn, tack room. no school but that doesn’t bother me. Hay roughly £3 or £3.50 a bale. Have just stocked up in straw at £2.50 a bale
I walked down the yard at 6.30 this morning in the driving rain and wind to get my horse in. Lovely cozy stable, rugged and plenty of hay. He hates being in but the weather was just dreadful. Went back at lunchtime and he’d trashed the stable :rolleyes:
