Lost paddock! Could you stable pony in garden?

Hi all, Its been a terrible few months! I have lost a private paddock and stable and a space at a livery yard I had lined up for my little rescue 3 year old when she comes off her grazing on December 17th! All yards near by are full and anywhere that has a space is too far away...

Just out of curiosity? It's now 3 years later. What did your friends NF reach? I am assuming he is nearly 5 now? (Terrible at math lol) I ask as my NF filly was out of a 14h NF mare and a 15h NFxCob stallion. She is a rescue, however at 2 years she stood at 12.3. At 2 and a half...

Can you successfully sue someone if you take a fall from their horse?

This accident was in January and she has been out of work since. She did have savings that payed the bills and rent she has paid, as well as hay, straw and fees ect for her fillies winter months. She has insurance for her filly that covers her if her filly injured her. It is taken on by...

Can you successfully sue someone if you take a fall from their horse?

I partly agree with you. However from what was told on both parts she did try to keep the horse back. She's not weak, small or inexperienced. But we all know how strong even the small ponies can be never mind 15h+ well built horses. It seems in this situation people are spilt. Some believe...

Can you successfully sue someone if you take a fall from their horse?

I have a query about this topic, it's a very interesting one at that! A friend of mine has recently been injured by another woman's horse and has had to result in making a claim. The friend does not own a rideable horse as she only owns a rising 2 filly. She was grooming and pampering her...

How do horses put on weight...

Can't say I have much experience on the matter. However having a rescue youngster from the start I have added a little olive/vegetable oil into her feed, even in summer if its just a few carrots. I think it helps add a little gentel weight and the oil helps the coat looking stunning.

    Pony Dreaming

Hi All, Haven't been on in a while but really wanted to share this experience with everyone and ask if anyone else had heard anything like it. So the other day I went out into the field to bring my Belle in and all the horses and ponies were lying down. (not on their sides - upright) I...

    Opinions please (CC)

Ok . . . Spent some time reading through all the 'debating' messages there. As far as the foal, Fluffy little - well not little - thing! Will make you a rather nice maybe 16.1-17.1 horse  Could do with a worming and lots of love. Both I'm sure you will give her both of those...
