I've finally hacked my sec d gelding out alone!
Was told he'd never go solo; too nappy, too spooky etc but goes to show it can be done and oh my god am I happy!!!)
Took him around the block. No naps and no spooks.

Well done! It's not been long since I took my welsh mare out solo for the first time and it was such a good feeling! We now go for lovely long canters by ourselves and I'm sure you guys will in no time! So happy for you!

I had lots of battles with Herbie to get him hacking out at all (alone or in company). So know that happy feeling well. Herbie now hacks out fine so I hope your horse continues to behave and you have many hours happy hacking with him. It takes alot of hard work but as you say it CAN be done. x
