Not sure but will be following with interest as I have a muzzle I need to use!! I spoke to the original owner of mine and they had used one on her before. For the first 24 hrs she was unhappy but got used to it eventually.
If I don't use it then she will balloon!!

I'm on a fairly small yard and at times I struggle to find someone to ride with but now I have made friends with everyone on the yard I usually pre arrange to meet someone for a hack. I like the fact it's not over busy, some days I see no one (usually the winter) now the better weather is here...
Today, out on a hack with a more experienced friend we came across a traveller family in a carriage, they too slowed down once they saw us and again they slowed down further up the road as we came level with, very friendly and happy to walk to make it easier for us!
My horse had a moment and...
Hi,
I've got a cob too so looking forward (!!) to the Spring Grass! I'd be honest with them and give them the choice.
They might find after a week they want a few weeks off, or they might find they cope well.

50/50 with mine, will create her own mud pit to stand in, doesn't like to walk in mud, actually pushed me out the way once when I walked her in hand.
Won't roll in mud but will happily stand in her mud pit looking for me to arrive and feed her!
Bless her
Positives are I do feel she is pleased to see me, mostly when I have food but other times when no food and I am grooming her, nip round the corner and she see me and I can see she is happy to see me.
Bad bits, she can be very silly and get very stressed so it's taking time to get her used to...
Hi, are you trying to catch him or just spend time with him? My new horse was always happy to wonder up to me but not over keen to be caught. I used to spend time in the field with her just chatting about anything, whilst poo picking etc so she would get used to me.
I used to take a treat in...
I think his number is a dedicated business line so you can call anytime and leave a message.
Can't rate him enough he is so nice, willow felt at ease with him...the dentist 2 days before was a different story....nice lady but Willow was having none of it lol!
Hi,
Hope she is feeling better soon, it's a difficult situation your faced with, could you speak to the other owner or yard owner and ask that horses are not tied up outside your stable?
I recently used a chiro and can thoroughly recommend him, he is used by three other liveries on my yard and...
She tripped once over a hole in the ground, our school is grass and she just caught her foot in the one hole! Typical! She has been very steady on the ground otherwise.
Her feet are due next week, back, teeth all done in the last week so she is fine for those.
I don't feed her other than...
Thank you both! She is a lovely horse but at times her heart starts racing and she becomes stressed and won't settle, which is something I know will happen we all have off days!
I will see how she is over the next few months and consider a calmer if she still doesn't settle.
It makes me laugh...
