Hi all,
I'm based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire and I need to transport my horse to Rainbow Equine Hospital in Malton, N. Yorks and back again.
I do not own my own horse box, and I cannot drive one due to my age, so i have made many enquiries locally to try and find the most cost effective way of...
Hi, mine are insured with direct line which have been great so far (been with them for 4 years now) and they've always been prompt and paid out. The other good one is petplan, they are a bit more pricey but you get what you pay for the service is fast and they are also reliable at paying out...
It seems to really depend on how individual dogs react to the product, in my experience working in veterinary practice for some dogs it really helps and for others it doesn't seem to have much if an effect. It will depend on how severe your dogs anxiety is too. I think unfortunately the only way...
Hi, i had a tb mare with a similar problem, and found feeding NAF haylage balancer once daily in her feed did the trick. I found it really helped her and cleared things up quickly, so may be worth a go for yours, hope this is helpful!
Hi, I had a thoroughbred mare who had a very similar problem to yours by the sound of it. I tried pink powder which had no effect but then tried NAF haylage balancer which really helped her so would recommend!
I completely agree with what black cob has said, and I personally would avoid them. Im a veterinary nurse and we have serious problems with animal friends not wanting to pay out!

Yep sounds like its a bit loose, it should fit snuggly and the hat fitter that helped me advised that there should be a small amount of what she described as natural suction to keep it in position. But if you go and get fitted they will make sure it is just right for you. Glad to have been helpful!
I used malaseb shampoo very successfully to treat an awful case of rainscald that a tb mare came to me with, I rescued and rehabilitated her. I used it once a week, lathered it up and left it on for 10 mins then rinsed it off and it worked wonderfully, can't recommend it enough. This was used on...
Another vote for malaseb shampoo, worked wonders on a rescued tb mare I rehabilitated. Used it once a week, works best is lathered on and left to work for 10 mins then rinsed off.
I have had a Charles Owen pro II skull cap for a few months now which I love. I also wasn't sure what I wanted as I've previously only had velvet hats, but after finding the advice online conflicting and confusing I just decided to go to a shop with a big range and try several and ask their...
