Terrier vomiting

Took our terrier for a walk in the park on Monday and he had a great time chasing squirrels. He ate his tea, then a couple of hours later was really down in the dumps. He was then sick 7 or 8 times. The next morning he was still under the weather and had the runs. Took him to the vet who thought he'd eaten something which disagreed with him. Gave him an anti emetic and anti biotics.
He really perked up for a few hours ( presumably the antiemetic was working), but then started vomiting & shaking again.
Off to the vet again now, hoping it's just a tummy bug, but wondering about pancreatitis.
 
Thank you. He seems a bit better. He was kept in and put on an IV. His kidney function was slightly reduced which the vet thought was from dehydration.
If he eats up tonight and keeps it down hexane come home tomorrow.
