Beware of overdosing. Make sure you try the over-counter antihistamines in conjunction with your vet. Looking up the symptoms for overdose I found all sorts of side effects! I know drowsiness could be seen as a bonus (:)) but there are other effects such as heart arrythmia and the list goes on.
My horse is on 100 a day, he is 520 kg. He is on them for headshaking. Not sure if any improvement yet. Very expensive and not sustainable without insurance.:(
