I tried to lunge my horse yesterday, and he just wouldn't do it. He didn't misbehave as such, but he wouldn't go round at all, and he just stood looking at me and trying to come in to me until i gave up. I tried pointing the whip at his shoulder to get him to go out, but he just ignored it and...

About a month ago my horse pulled some of the muscles around his hips in an accident in the field, and has been lame ever since. We haven't had a vet out to see him as my yard owner knew instantly what was wrong with him...but he just doesn't seem to be getting any better and we don't know what...

I've heard so many different explanations of it, but i thought it was a showjumping round followed by a cross country round. Am i right? If not, what is it? :)x

I'm taking my horse to a show on saturday, and with our wonderful weather at the moment, i was wondering if it was too cold to give him a bath. So what's the coldest you'd all bath your horses in?

Mine's out for most nights at the moment, along with most of the other horses on my yard :)
