I use the Shires shaped ones for mine and they're a reasonable price. Cob size fits my 15.2 overgrown pony and is a good length to protect knees and hocks. I also like the Amigo and Premier Equine ones but haven't tried them. Good luck with your new boy :)

Hi have you seen the Snuggy Hoods udder cover? I haven't used it myself but a friend has one for her mare and she seems to like it. Apparently if you ring them they will explain to you how to attach it to your existing fly rug so you don't have to buy their expensive one if you don't need it...
