Forgive me - I thought the OP was asking for breeder recommendations? Just to clarify - the pedigree LINES are both working and show and OP wasn't fussed on coat length. Anyhow, her working line bitch IS worked and her show lines ARE shown (KC and SV regional breed shows).
I can recommend Opalia German Shepherd Dogs in West Sussex - a few of my friends have dogs from her and they are fabulous. She breeds mainly show line but has one working line bitch too - I think she is repeating a litter next year from her - I have met a few pups from that litter - great...
I don't ride anymore or have a horse, but I don't walk my dog on bridleways (unless I absolutely have to).....knowing cantering opportunities can be scarce, I'm always aware I could spoil someone's ride :)
But I am always thankful if a rider slows down for me and it gives me a chance to admire...
My boy is on long term Metacam for arthritis and I switched his food to Royal Canin Sensitive (on my vet's advice) and (touch wood) his tum has really settled down. Very expensive but I have found I don't need to feed as much so doesn't work out too bad. He also has Seraquin tablets daily.

Looks like a pretty good list!
I don't personally like extending leads (but I can see why some people do) - what about a 'Halti' training lead (I think most pet shops sell them) - they are comfy to hold and you can adjust them to make them longer if you want to give a bit more space/recall...
Bloomin hard work isn't it!
We come straight in the front door on to carpet - I taught my boy to shake on command (outside) then I have a towel by the door to rub down and wipe mud off - that seems to have stopped the wall splatter!
I just invested in a steam mop for the kitchen floor for wet...
I was amazed how many dogs are unsettled on their own just from that small trial - I actually had a few tears in my eyes along with the owners.
It made me want to set up a camera up at home to watch my boy! But I know exactly what he does - apart from barking at the postman - LOTS of sleeping...
Sounds like you have a perfect home on offer!
My boy came from a shelter in Cyprus at 18 months old - we discovered he has terrible arthritis in his elbows at 4 years old (he has UAP and his elbows are barely sitting in the joints)- he is now 7 and has been on daily joint supplements for...
