    Native Pony Saddles

Looking at NPSC but confused about the serial numbers and sizing. What does 8F or 5F etc mean? Is it date made or width? Also what do the other vertical digits mean? Usually a number then letter then four numbers from top to bottom. The I know which ones are the tree size which written...

Young horse saddle woes -- WWYD

Hi jumping in on a thread sorry! I am in dire need of knowledgeable advice please if you have time? If you used to fit NP many years ago, do you understand the numbers on the saddle? What would an 8F or 5F mean? Then there is a string of numbers going vertically too, do I read these up or down...

What are your Welsh B heights and weight

Would everyone with a Welsh B post mind posting its height and weight please? Trying to get an idea of the spectrum or Welsh B BMI! Mine is 13hh at withers 13.2hh at croup and weighs 380kg, been told ideal weight should be 350kg. Wondering if 350kg is actually a sensible target.. as this is...

    Mud fever, should i boot?

Perhaps if it's looking that sore consider bringing in out of the mud and give TCP bathe for a few days and continue with the sudocream inbetween until it looks like it's not sore. Viewing a horse - how many times?

Go for a second viewing, don't overlook little things like make sure it catches in field safely. This will prob end up sparking a debate..but a professional seller with nothing to hide and wants the horse to go to a good home will let u try as often as u want until you r satisfied. Obviously...

    Bits for newly broken mare

I have the Lorenzini loose ring snaffle with lozenge. It's great! Super light weight, I'm sure it's warmer in winter plus it's hypo allergenic-my pony used to get a red mouth visible on the white side of face, doesn't any longer. I wouldn't put in cheap zinc earrings everyday so why use zinc...

    tall riders and ponies?

Would say more a weight thing-I have read rider to be a max of 20% of pony/horse weight as a guide. Being tall just means u may or may not (depending on individual) find it harder to balance initially! Oh and u may find air at ur heels and no tummy! But that can be worked around!!

New Mac Hoof Boot and comparison to Old Mac G2

Hi, 1)Has anyone used the New Mac boot? What is it like in motion?(assuming you had a good stationary fit) 2)Secondly anyone used the New Mac and a previous Mac model? Which is the best of the 3 models? 3) Is the Old Mac G2 best being made using leather parts so it "breaks in" better than...
