yes! - bought the jumping ones and they lasted quite well and I really liked them so bought a second pair and they did exactly the same after just a few weeks and barely any use. I changed to Mac Wets and they are much better although not quite as comfy.
Possibly. I changed my mare to a universal when she got way to strong when she first started going xc. She started to back off with it so I went back to a snaffle and she is, touch wood, much more forward into her fences. We have had a few episodes where she has been very strong coming out...
Loved my Bateson and was sad to see it go but upgraded to a lorry. If I went back to a trailer I would get another. They tow brilliantly and give a very smooth ride for the horse. They are also an excellent company to deal with.
Yes - I do. At BE they like you to tell the secretary on arrival. The only time I get worried about it is when husband is away from home so on those occasions I usually try to make sure I compete on the same day that I know a few local friends will be at the same venue.
Like you I prefer a bigger browband so just swapped my Micklem one for a plain but larger one. Frustrates me that most bridles come with a browband too tight.
As previous poster said - recovery won't transport your horse without it so I have a bag which I use whenever I go anywhere and keep passport in there. That way it doesn't get left in horsebox all the time but is always there when I travel. I broke down on M62 last week and it was one of the...

Somerford was open yesterday but they are making a decision on a day to day basis. If you are booked in advance they will sometimes allow you to go even though they are closing it on the day. Fabulous facility so worth a phone call.
They will drop! and then you will have one of the comfiest pairs of boots you've ever had. I'm addicted to them and buy up a pair whenever there is a sale on.
Scoundrels!! I had some dealings with them a few years ago and I wouldn't touch them with the proverbial barge pole. A slightly different situation to yours but I had to fight them tooth and nail and their tactics were alarming in the lengths they would go. Get an independent report and as much...
Had a very 'riggy' pony that blood tested negative. He mounted anything and everything. We managed him perfectly well with Global Herbs rig calm and lots of work on the ground with a rope halter (Richard Maxwell).
agree - the daily fail equation goes something like this: the more you earn/the more your house is worth/if you dare to send your child to a private school the more you deserve the tragedy that befalls you. It's disgusting journalism that they churn out on a daily basis. A terrible accident...
