    It means to me, sharp and forward going but it could mean anything, green to needing someone who doesnt mind being thrown off lol

    Cobs v Hot blooded horses

    Sharpest horse Ive known so far would be a cob and most chilled out horse I know is a thoroughbred, however have met sharp horses in all breeds but it really is down to the individual horse.

    Itchy Horse - any ideas, at my wits end!

    I had an itchy horse, didnt know what caused it all, so eventually had bloods done, comprehensive test done and discovered he was allergic to alot of things such as mites, culiloides, wheat etc. He is now on immunology programme which is helping with his itching so that could be a route for you...

    Head down and Round?

    you will just know if your horse is 'on the bit' such as lightness, willingness, will do whatever movements at ease and balanced plus it all coming from behind. The head is the final puzzle pretty much and people focus not enough on back end sadly.

    yup, Ive seen seen plenty and Im sure there are videos on youtube. The cobs can reallly hold their own obviously if trained the right way

    Petite riders with welsh cobs

    who cares what other people think, tell them to **** off lol As long you are happy with what you have got and that really, is all that matters :) I am 5ft 3 and size 8, I ride all sorts but my horse is 15.1hh Andalusian X Welsh and we work well together :)

    French attitudes to saddles

    I only use my saddle to ride in but it is treeless with suberpanel feonix I use. Doesnt move and everyhorse goes well in it, I rather horse's comfort first than mine. I would not forgive myself for being the reason to give a horse long term back problems or even a few mins of pain. Just not...
