My vet always tries to twitch my horse if needed, he is pretty apt at not letting them get anywhere near his nose but i would prefer it to sedation. I think it is useful for short periods of time.

is there anywhere that i can get a girth with bigger buckles? my dressage saddle seems to have excessively big straps and normal girths such as Wintec amongst others don't work, the straps just get stuck and it is nearly impossible to get it tight enough for the saddle not to move. Would like to...
