No none are in season, just in general ! He will walk past one if a mare is tied up outside and to be fair i can go pretty close and he will walk past , yeah he jogs and nickers but very manageable. Its for instance if mares are being turned out or are tied up and hes in his stable thats when he...

Your the only one whos "got my point of the post" hes happy enough out on his own he sticks his head down and grazes and is out most of the day. Your right i need to just put him out with a mare and let him learn !! Like i said previous he couldn't even tell male from female when he first came...

Thank you. We have brood mares here in foal but im petrified he'll get hurt then his showing career will be over. Your right he is very sensitive and very suspicious of everything and you do have to gain his trust. Its like he rebelled when he came he was boss and it got nipped in the bud...

When he came he didnt even realise the difference from geldings/mares it was very sad to see to be honest . Its not about what hes worth , hes an amazing animal and i looked for a horse like...

yes we have an entire strawberry roan traditional cob stallion, my stepdad breeds foals by him every year ( hence why i have no desire at all to breed myself) so we always have young stock about , including mares ,colts are usually gelded at 3 and broke to ride after ... however none have ever...

However after 3 months I would certainly expect the horse to be relaxed enough in their new home to be calm and be accepting of their new environment. And I would be looking at my management processes that were preventing thos from happening after this amount of time. This is stating he should...
