Both of my horses are passported with the Passport Agency. Both have yellow pages and one has clear plastic, the other has a clear front, red back.... Hope this helps...

Good that you have tetanus cover.... I' would guess that you would get the best advice by ringing your local farm vet, and ask what their needle stick policy is! But otherwise bruising is normal (I've stabbed myself a few times, but usually with clean needles!!) but any sign if red, go to A&E....

I use Chine House Vets, based in Sileby, near Loughborough. I've never used them for a vetting, but never had a problem with them in over ten years. The only problem might be that they may well be the sellers vet!
I don't know if he's still there, but George at Dosthill Saddlery (near Tamworth) was highly recommended to me years ago, and I would certainly go back... I'll be looking to get new saddles soon too...
