Billy has started bucking alot in the upwards transitions, mainly to canter. It seems to be ever since his clip. Um he had his teeth done 2 weeks ago and his back done last week. His saddle was checked in July. Can you think of what might be causing it and what I can do to make him stop?
Thanks.

My weatherbeeta's fit fine but within a month all my inside was ripped and frayed. Mark Todd all the way!
My horse has just started this recently. Had everything checked and all fine. But I was thinking it was only after his clip that he started it. And yours is just after the clip so maybe that has something to do with it?

Yeap also tried the Jeffries, also rose at the back when I trotted. I thought about a made to measure but I cant really afford the £2000 the saddler said I would have to pay for a decent one. I didnt pay much more than that for Bodey!

Maybe try a sheepskin half pad...
How about a GP saddle. I have an albion k2 and do everything in it. It's slightly forward cut. I used to have a amerigo vega but find my albion just as comfy.
Well was mine and Billy's 2nd attempt at a dressage test. Didn't think it was going to go that well. He was a litle tense and not as off the leg as he could be.
Anyway ended up with 65.5% and came 3rd.
Was really happy because he wasn't at his best.
A pic as well.
