    you havent said if the kids do much with the shetland or not? i guess when a little older you may get involved with PC/RC? If 4 year old was/is sound i would suggest getting a sharer to help you out and take the pressure off. def consider if you have other options for the retired horse

    agree that valegro it was the canter....and remember he was not a horse winning huge in YH classes etc I do think that horses that are not always correct are rewarded....and that horses are being bred too uphill and looking like a dressage horse and then have no strength to carry themselves...

    Toledo is up there for me. Top ten I want to see Pippa and Harry in there. Tina be great to watch round the XC. London 52 is all out 4 star winner...it will be interesting to see how he does at Badminton. I wouldnt totally rule out ros second ride to do well.
