Just googled him out of interest, interesting to see how much he was sold for in 2011, this must be the way to make money in horses

My understanding from the ads is that he was bred by and is being sold by Eurosporthorse, so not sure that the one you've found from 2011 is the same horse? Have checked his BS record out of interest and he has already won actual of over £1k, including several 1sts in 4yo classes.

I think the poster you replied to was looking at the Brightwells auction, where this stallion is listed. He had a price of £6k on him, but next to the price is NS (not sold) so perhaps they tried to sell him but didn't meet reserve, so decided to produce him to his potential instead. Seems logical to me- why get £6k when he is worth so much more?

Didn't like him from the video, and he spent most the time with his ears back and swishing his tail. Didn't look like a very happy horse to me.

I saw a tiny bit of bouncing and swishing now and again on corners, but generally speaking a smooth easy round over a big course for a 4yr old, at a big show with lots going on, and no doubt lots of mares to take his eye. I thought he was a really cool cookie, not looking at any fillers, just calmly doing his job. He looked a lot more relaxed than half the older horses further up the ranks you will see SJing.
