That's all my farrier would take this morning for trimming my boy's feet! - Bargain!

Bit of a pointless post other than to say I think my farrier is lovely! :)

especially as my boy isn't particularly easy - he jumped out of his skin mid-way through and looked at farrier as if to say 'where did you come from?!' lol! love youngsters!

Bloody hell you lucky thing! Mine charges £25. He does a damn good job though. And has been known to spend an evening assisting me with keeping crazy tb's back legs in tubs and charging me nothing!

Lucky you, wish my farrier would just charge that. I also pay £20 for each trim and they take less the 5mins to do each, and one of them is always a bit sore afterwards.

I know... admitedly he didn't have much to do (horse had broken his feet down naturally) but he was still there, bright and breezy at 8am in -3 and it must've taken him at least 5 mins if not a bit more.

Last time he would only take £15 as 'it wasn't a propper trim'. love him!

Am v jealous CBFan! What area are you in?
Vikki89 - my mare has been sore after the last 2 visits, prob is he is the best farrier in the area! She wears her feet down beautifully so just needs a roll. Am afraid my farrier may no longer be the person doing that!

Surely if you bought something from a shop and you didn't like it or it broke you'd take it back...why can't you say if he gave the horse sore feet to not be so harh next time? You don't have to offend him, just say it in a nice way. They shouldn't have sore feet after a trim.
