Evening guys,
Local feed merchants can deliver as much hay as I want for £5 carriage, but its £6.50 a bale. Is this excessive? I know last year I paid around £4 a bale, but with the bad summer weather i'm guessing prices have gone up?
I have the option of paying £37 for as much haylage as I want instead but even when soaked i've read this is no good for a lami prone good doer?
Options are
£37.50 for x5 bales of hay delivered (don't know how long this would last? first winter keeping him in overnight)
VS
£37 as much haylage as I want
