This horse is local to me. It was advertised for nearly 7k I think only a week or so ago, so would want to know the reason for dramatic price drop - even if want quick sale before Christmas it seems a big difference!

If that horse is 2k I would be running away as fast as I possibly could. Trade price would be more than that!

I am fairly certain he was only purchased end of October/beginning of November also by current owner. He looks like a sweet boy. May be just a case of being over horses/needs more one to one, but who knows ?

What a sweeping comment! I have had cobs most of my riding life (40 yrs) and not one has had laminitis! Yes you do need to be careful with their weight as tend to be good doers, but certainly not 'impossible' to control their weight......

I have to agree. My cob got a bit fat this year due to not being able to strip graze as we usually do but he's only in light work, lives out 24/7 and is generally pretty healthy. Vet and physio see him regularly and are happy with his weight.
The Shitland on the other hand is a constant battle with his weight.

The link just takes me to a private fb group I’m not a member of. Curious to see the ad though?

I thought horsequest ref 268717 sounds great. If someone can find the 14.2hh version please!

Do we expect prices to come down soon? I don’t understand how horse riders suddenly have so much more money to spend than we did. Riding is already an expensive hobby but it’s going astronomical! I saw a full livery for £800 pm the other day, that’s almost as much as having a racehorse in training!

Think it’s more like £1,500pcm racing running costs a month in Epsom.
