“That dog is so in love with you” ??

So said one of my friends today when I posted yet another George picture on Facebook (they get even more spam than you do on here, poor things ?) - I’m not sure which way round it is really ?

Today I was being a terrier pillow (sorry if you’ve already seen it on the coronavirus thread!)

Then later on in the afternoon I was on my laptop for 10 minutes and someone had to push themselves onto my knee and sit in the way of the screen ?


And now he has put himself to bed because clearly it’s tiring being a terrier ?

Bless him. You are lucky not to have to share his affections. My JRT loves everyone, but I think if she had to put us in order I’d be at the bottom. She loves my OH first, followed by the kids, then me. My Springer who I lost 2 years ago now was my dog and properly devoted to me and I do miss having a cuddly dog which my JRT isn’t really.

I still find it odd because he is so different in character to the hounds - they all adore me, but they aren’t really cuddly in the same way? I suppose it’s because he is small, 8kg sitting on your knee is so much easier than 18kg, 32kg or 38kg ?

I smile so much every time I see pictures of George! His adoration for you is so obvious. Our George-a-like is like this with Mr EM, he is just besotted with him, he loves me too but Mr EM is definitely his person of choice, fortunately, the younger one loves me most!

Delighted little dog, he’s found his forever home and is loving it!

This is why I don’t want more than 2-1 each. Zak loves his daddy more, Bear is my ‘symbiot’, gets off the OH’s knee when mine becomes available, makes his preference really clear, it’s a bit embarrassing.

Well you know how much I wibble to you about my boys and I've had lots of dogs over the years but I've never had one so utterly devoted and want to be physically attached to me at all times and he's only been in my house less than two years. It's a privilege ❤

By the way, I'm mostly looking at George (mostly as in 98-99% looking at George), but due to your posts on the Coronavirus thread, I want to mention that I think your hair looks good as it is.

George is just saying trying to make it sooooo worthwhile you having him Lev!! He never wants you to forget how happy he is in his new, perfick home. How lovely for him (and possibly you too...) that he is so happy bless him - it really is very heartwarming.

Well..... as someone who was not a terrier fan in any way lol....I genuinely never thought I’d love a little dog so much ? I can forgive him absolutely anything (and quite often I have to ?) - he was the best random decision I’ve ever made ???
