Evening all!!
Just thought I would give you an update on blazey
Been a weeks since her accident and op and she is doing well!! She has adjusted to crate rest really well but has her little moments around the same time everyday when she moans a little when the painkillers tend to ware off and buds goes for his walks
but otherwise she is model patient!!
Had her week checkup at vets today and they remove her dressing off her front leg - However blazey being blazey thought she would help them and decided to remover the dressing herself on the way
So now much to her dislike is sporting a nice lampshade on her head
Stitches are looking fab and her wound is healing really well - Fingers crossed stitches out in a week
She couldn't stand let alone walk when she first came home but she is now able to stand and trying to walk a few steps. She is still has to have total rest..which confused me slightly as she was originally allowed to walk back and forth to toilet!
However I think what we have been doing is OK...been carried back and forth and just put down on grass - does her business and carried back in!
All in all she is coming along in leaps and bounds and my little blazey is starting to return!
So just fingers crossed she carries on improving
