I give up!!!

I was trying to be technical but failed!

I managed to load the pictures into an album but it would seem getting them onto the thread is beyond me!

Only thing I would change is position of your hands, in the last picture he looks braced against you and a bit tense.
Bring them up unfront of you, shorten the rein and bring hands closer together, thumbs on top, like you are carrying 2 pints of beer, instead of pushing a shopping trolley. He will lift in front as you lift your hands, then soften and go forward.
Other than that carry on!!

I must admit my hands/ shoulders are poor!!

They start off well and gradually get lower and further back then my shoulders go round....

any training exercises??

Good old tape on the rien to give you a marker - old school but it works. If you can sort the length out you'll sort the height out too

..an other thing is carrying a tray with 2 cups of tea on it across the top of your hands - a metaphorical one , again it sounds like kids stuff but there is a reason we get taught these things and its not so we can forget them when we grow up lol
