I am looking for a 75 - 100g detachable neck or standard turnout rug for my mare when she is clipped, she is not rugged at the moment and will get far too hot in anything more than this to start off with!!

The only company I found that did what I liked, with decent denier value, at a reasonable price were swish equestrian but unfortunately they are sold out and wont have any stock until december!

I have checked with all the usual companies but can barely find a rug of this weight at all, where am I going wrong??

Expensive but Rambo do, we'll the outer of a Duo is 100g not sure if they sell seperatly.
I've been wanting the same for my ID x and I've seen Shires do a 100g stable rug for £39.99 I'm thinking of using that as a cheaper option with his light weight on top?

Swish equestrian were my first choice too, but shes going to be clipped around the end of the month and they state on their website that they wont have these rugs back in stock until December which will be no good!

I'm pleased with my Swish one, but it isn't very deep at all, and looks skimpy on my lanky KWPN... (it's the 200g, the heavyweight is much better)

I got one from equestrian clearance 2wreks ago, it was there own brand tyrex with a separate neck cover, fitted perfectly and Ralph has quite a big chest.
However I have had to send it back as the 2 rings that attach the neck cover have come off- I'm hoping that it's a one off as all other aspects of the rug are great, fits great and really waterproof as he had it on when it absolutely chucked it down for two days.

I got a Shires Tempest 100g a couple of weeks ago, I got the Combo but I have to say I was really impressed with it - I am normally a horseware person but wanted something quickly and cheaply and it was all I could find locally. My mare is IDxTB but has the chest of an ID and I find many rugs tight on the chest on her, I went up a size and it fits her shoulders really really well and isn't gaping behind despite being longish on her. For the money I would highly recommend.

Slight hijack, I have been googling, I am going to be fully clipping this year and have a warm warmblood. Would 100g do as a middle weight or do I want 200g, I have a heavyweight (350g). I can't find an answer (I came across a load of 100g ones when looking which is what made me stop and think.

iv got a gallop turnout rug with 100g filling, i know not a lot of people like gallop but im super pleased with my rug, its still like new, not a rip or tear any were and iv used it most of 'summer'

I just bought a 100g Derby House rug, never had one of theirs before and really pleased with it. It's a fab fit on my girl, who is TB x Highland so fairly broad across the chest and deep through the barrel, so would think it would be good on an ID.

Premier equine have really good rugs. I got a no fill, a 40g and a 100g liner so I can use it to have a 100g rug or a 140g. They also sell rugs that are 100g and other liners.
