105 mile charity horse ride

Starting on Saturday 20th August 2011 Elizabeth Goodaire and Sarah Pitt are going to ride our horses 105 :eek: miles along the Pennine Bridleway to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and North Clwyd Animal Rescue. We estimate that the ride will take us 7 days, over challenging mountainous and moorland terrain, offering breathtaking panoramic views. We are aiming to raise £2000 for each charity :D

We would also love to hear from anybody who has ridden any part of the Pennine Bridleway or may have taken part in long distance endurance rides. The more we know beforehand, the easier our task will be! :)

We are very excited but its the fundraising bit, a chance to make a difference that we are both really looking forward to! If your in the area, let us know, your more than welcome to come and ride some of the route with us! We will need some help getting to the end :D

Sounds fantastic - the best of luck :) A very worthy cause.

My MIL is doing Women vs Cancer Cycle in Kenya and they are raising a lot of money in pubs via psychic nights (£600 profit) and doing race nights etc.
