Sooo my boy has now been bare behind for 10months so I have added a few comparison pics in the hope of getting some opinions/observations from those more knowledgable than me!
He's doing well. Was footy for the first time after his last trim but apart from that is almost rock crunching
He is out 24/7 at the mo which I thought would have had more effect
He's fed FF and a hackup bespoke joint and balancer supp

So what does everyone think?!

Testing if pics are working?

It sounds like he's doing really well. His hooves do show definite improvements too. :)

Let your farrier/trimmer know that he was footy post trim so that they can adjust their trim to make sure that it doesn't happen again.

Thanks for fixing the pics ! Yea it was the first time it's happened, and ive been doing a lot more road work since the trim so I don't know if the will even need touched this time
He never touches the frog / sole so I dont know why he was a bit footy
I thought someone might have mentioned the squarish toes I was a bit worried about them. Must look worse to me!

That's him keeping his breakover correct, so a good thing. Some people get a Riders Rasp so that they can round off the 'square' bits.

Ohh ok! Don't know about my own rasp lol but it's good to know I won't wear his feet down I was worried it was too much. The rational side of me knew I was being ridiculous but went on a long hack the other day and tried to keep him on the grass where I could lol
