Our local paper is running a story today about a 3 year old girl shot in the head with an air rifle. Not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident and have said it happened in the private living quarters of a pub/hotel.

Who in their right mind leaves an air rifle where a three year old can reach it? Actually....come to think of it, how would a three year old press the trigger and be at the end of the barrel at the same time? Paper did say there was another child in the room at the time.

I hope they find the pillock who did it, and stick him in the nonces part of prison.

Yes it shocking, Liverpool is not far from me. They have arrested a 14 year old, and a 19 year old. Such a shame for the family.

I was in shock when I heard this!
This country is going down the sh!tter it really is, totaly discusting how many people like this are in the world and how many kids are growing up to be the same or worse!

My thoughts go out to his family.

I learnt to drive around Croxteth last year. The surrounding areas are even worse. There always seem to be stabbings/gang attacks with someone getting killed every few weeks. I seem to remember it was really bad around Christmas.

Poor family, you just can't imagine such a young child dying in that way.

I just read in our local paper that a young lady was eating her lunch in a busy town centre when she had an epiletic fit. When she came round she was surrounded by five teenage boys who where kicking her in the head. This was mid day and the street was full of shoppers (none of whom helped, probably because they thought they would be knifed)!! She managed to escape and run back to her place of work.
 
re the 3yr old fun story - i know someone that was "messing round with a air rifle and accidentally" shot her daughter in the leg, TWICE. disgusting and of course it went to court etc and i wanted the child taken away but alas this country is crap at catching crims and great at feeding the rich and housing the poor............oh here we go again, sorry im off my soapbox now. I HATE ENGLAND and cant wait to emigrate.
 
i hack past that pub! along the footpath were the poor boy was murdered as its a cut through into the park. that area isnt so bad sure theres the usual kids hanging round but its ok one of the girls on or yard was there when it happened she was really upset
