125kg haylage bales Essex area???

Can anyone recommend a supplier for 125kgs haylage bales in the Essex area? Prefer South Essex region. Our current supplier has run out and we can only seem to get the 250kgs bales (too big to last for one horse) or the samller bales. The 125kgs work really well for our feeding programmes. Have considered sharing a big 250kgs bale with afriend but they are just so hard to move!

What size are Throrogoods bales? Have you tried them?

Much smaller. The regular sized ones that you get in most feed shops range from 18 - 25kgs. The maine baile ones in our area are the largest at about 25kgs. Even the old style Wid Valley one which were about 30 - 35kgs would be good.

I'm not sure how big they are, but Essex Animal Feeds do do a very large bale size - couldn't hazard a guess as to what size though!! Other than you get about two to a pallet?

Actually, I just saw on their website that they do a 125kg bale. I thought some of the girls had exhausted that line but I'll give them another call.
