Thinking of buying a project horse or pony. Seen a 14.2hh and a 15hh both very simular types and age. But am I better buying the smaller one and aiming it for a childs PC pony or the bigger one for a small adult!!?? Any ideas??

I would say the 14.2hh (as long as it WILL measure in for affiliated competition) would be the best buy. From personal experience the market for a good 14.2hh is much stronger than for a 15hh.

Depending on what age the pony is because if its a 4 year old its more likely to grow to a horse but with the 15hh you could do more things with it

Well i am an adult and had the same 14.2 since i was 11yrs old(now 28) so i think either height will be almost the same difference, but that's just my POV, someone else may think differently.

I'm surprised at the amount of people saying no to the 15hh-er. When I was looking for my horse a few years ago it was impossible to find them that height. I wanted taller than 14.2hh but smaller than 16hh, which leaves not alot of choice! For a slightly built but tall(ish) adult I'd say they're worth there weight in gold at 15hh as (for me at least) it's just the right height.
That said if the 14.2hh is likely to be a pc type and measures up, it will be easy to sell on for a kids pony.

Mines 14.3hh .....he he he......just to be totally awkward
