17'' or 18'' numnah for 17.5'' saddle?

Posted in competition riders this morning but had no response as yet so......

This may sound like a silly question (I'm thinking answer will be 18!)

I'm thinking of buying a griffin nuumed acrylic wool WH numnah for under my 17.5" WH saddle. Would an 18" look too big? It will be used in the show ring so needs to be smart.

P.s. Obviously they don't sell a 17.5" size

Also any other recommendations of similar WH numnahs appreciated,

I use XL griffin nuumed numnahs on my 17.5" saddle.
