1st ever competition report.

Went to Withington on Sat in the Novice. Had a pretty good day. Warmed up ok for dressage and did an nice test and got 36.7. Which is ok for us (our scores range from low 30's to low 40's.) Warmed up well for show jumping and was jumping well when he stopped at the first part of the double I circled round and he jumped fine finished the course with just 4fts for the stop. When I got back to the box I realised he had pulled of a front shoe which would account for his unusual stop. Went back to showjumping and the shoe had been handed into the steward so got it put back on in time to go xc. He was fantastic cross country and didn't put a foot wrong and finished clear inside the time. So all in all a pretty good day.

Finished 13th. But was very happy as I am determind to get back to intermediate before the end of the season as this will be my last year eventing as I have no money left

so would love one more intermediate run as he is such a fantastic cross country horse.

What a shame to lose a she, the worst time faults CCj ever got were because Jonty pulled one off XC..
Your horse sounds super, what a shame you can't carry on eventing, but it is expensive isn't it? Any pics?
