2/3 aint bad right?! 😜 afterall the main challenge of eventing is getting all 3 right on the same day! 🤣
A rather foggy start to my day after my 4:30 alarm 🙈 as I was driving to LD I was kinda hoping the fog wouldnt clear so at least if we fluffed up the dressage at the A end the judge wouldnt really see it! 😂 either that or perhaps my mum would sweet talk the judge into giving me 8s as it just so happened she was writing for my section! First down the centre line with a test Id barely looked at... man my organisation skills need some practise!! I thought it was a sweet test, nothing spectacular but everything was where it should have been and no scary ghosts 👻 to make us spook! Turns out Poplars PB wasnt a fluke and we totally topped it with a new PB of 30!!! 😍 #dude
Unfortunately though it wasnt quite our day in the sj, Beanz wasnt being overly helpful, he was quite frankly ignoring me and not really giving the fences much respect shame as he jumped fab on Thursday over some bigger fences, due to his lack of attention on me we couldnt really keep a decent canter which resulted in running deep into a few uprights. 8 to add from sj 🙈
The xc looked a lovely course a nice new combination of stair fences at 14 full of flowers the rest he had jumped before! We were first out the start box and he absolutely stormed it 😍 clearly finding it all a bit too easy, taking strides out left right and centre again to come home with yet again too fast time penalties! 🙈 🤣 he is a proper xc machine these days!! ❤️
Onwards and upwards the poles were costly but we do need more match practise in this phase, a few more planned runs and then I need to decide what to do for the latter half of the season! 😃
Didnt purchase pros photos just yet as they have quite a few photographers on site so Id like to wait to see what everyone puts up before I decide!! 🙈
Hope everyone else has enjoyed the sunny weekend!
