2 dogs thoughts?

we have a little jrt who loves to play, so we got a rescue retriever to keep her occupied. best thing we ever did - the two of them have a ball and are inseperable. She is 100 times happier and I find it easier having two dogs instead of one - less seperation anxiety, but mainly not constantly having toys constantly dropped in my lap now! Def another one who would never have a single dog again

Definitely. I couldnt imagine having just one dog. We have 5. 4 dogs and 1 bitch. She rules them all. The boys are all terriers of various sorts. She is a dobie and God help us when she goes as she keeps the boys in line ☺️ We have full brothers but a year apart in age and they get on great.

definitely not one lone dog. they keep each other company when have to be left. I have two English springer spaniels, dog and bitch. never once had a disagreement. Been offered a cocker pup, but still thinking about that one.umm.

I got my first dog 2 years ago nearly now,we bought him and his brother but my brother took the other dog. They see eachother often, but whilst on holiday we decided to get another puppy and we did about 2 weeks ago now, best thing we've ever done. They amuse eachother and I can leave them at home or in the garden for a few hours and know that they will be playing rather than feeling awful that one on his own would be sat waiting for me to get home.

Another one who loves more than one dog! We actually have three but ones my husbands and go's to work/everywhere with him.
My two are brilliant company and get on really well. Little lab adapts to his mates abilities which is great. When it's just my two he's quiet and gentle as my little dogs not in the best of health but when dog 3 gets home they all have a mad hour!
I'd never go back to one dog, I feel far happier about leaving them at home or just not directing my attention on them all the time because they have each other.
