2 horses die in paddock at Newbury

Whhilst parading before the 1st race two horses went down at the end of the paddock, apparently with heart attacks. One other had gone down on knees at the same point but got back up. The two died within seconds of one another. It's thought at the moment there may be an electrical problem in the ground. The pre parade paddock is now being used. Racing UK is keeping up to date with what is happening.

After running the first race the meeting is now abandoned at 2.10.
