As title, I bought a mare just over 2 months ago, she is turned out with my gelding. They are out 24/7, and have no additional feed, just the grazing (both are in very light work only), she is rising 5, he is 19. Both have been worm counted and are fine. They have a salt-lick available in the field.
I am slightly concened that she is still doing 'cow-pat' droppings, she was like this when she arrived, and I put that down to the stress of moving, but now she is totally chilled, and she is still the same. His droppings are what I would expect to be 'normal', kidney-shaped pellets, for want of a better description.
She is TBxConnie, and although a reasonably good doer, not quite as good as my gelding, ArabxWelsh.
Any ideas why she should be like this, and should I be concened about her?
