Is she keeping them and giving them ''forever'' homes or are they just being handled and tidied up and sold/rehomed?

What does it matter?...Either way they have a brighter future than they did:)

It is just the fact that HHOers have put her on a pedastil, she is a dealer no more and no less. She is not a charity, they are all sold on if they pass muster, otherwise they end up at the slaughter house, where they were oringinally meant to be. To get the record straight they are not rescued, if there will be no profit, off they go to Potters. So if we can put this in context, she is a dealer!, and a bin end dealer to boot.

Oh! I get it now! Pastie, you *are* FMC, aren't you? Go on, admit it! :D

Simply asked because OP said had gone to a good home which i thought implied they were being kept. No need to get all up in arms about it, just wondered if she was keeping them or not, simple question.

The FACT of the matter is that FMC buys horses from sales, she then gives them a chance of a decent life. If a horse has no chance of a decent life, then that life is ended humanely. You only have to look at some of the scraps she has actually given a chance to to know that.

Pedestal? No I think not, FMC is respected because she is a consumate oldfashioned horsewoman and has skills that many of the people who knock her could not learn in several of their lifetimes. Her only fault is that sometimes she is far too honest with people and perhaps lacks a little, shall we say diplomacy. I personally find that very refreshing on a forum where the most some posters can say is 'Oh isn't he lovely'.

You obviously have some sort of personal axe to grind.

As you say she lacks diplomacy, fine for her to be down right rude, but no one else is allowed to speak as they find. I for one will not be saying "o isnt he lovely" either. But hey ho one rule for one and another for her. I am being honest aswell, do you find it quite so refreshing coming from someone other than fumanchew?

pastie2,

I was just about to respond to the post by jack9, and ask who, apart from a mythical character, was fumanchu, when I scrolled down, accidentally, and found your post. It may well be that you've answered my question.

"If", we assume that you are right, then is what she's doing wrong? If ponies can go on and have a useful life, when they've been condemned, then is that such a bad thing? If fumanchu(?) is a dealer in horses, and she turns around the unacceptable, earns (probably scrapes) a meagre living from it, then is that really so wrong?

Assuming that this thread is about to disappear into the bowels of the H&H system, can someone give me a prompt, preceed and unbiased view of the tale of fumanchu? Not the historical one, the one who's been banned!

Alec.
ETS. Don't bother replying, anyone, I've read your further thoughts and I suspect that the expression "loved or loathed" springs to mind! Adjust your body armour everyone, another needles squabble. a.

I find it refreshing coming from anyone tbh, however, you were deliberately having a dig, there is a distinct difference. FMC answered questions honestly, if a little directly, you on the other hand were not answering a question but having a dig, not on! Especially since FMC is unable to defend herself.
