Keep on bitching and moaning folks, people will still churn out horses, which in turn will suffer, like her or not, JM will keep doing what she's doing, a lot of those horses will be helped, and the bitchers and moaners will keep on bitching and moaning and doing sod all.

pastie2.....

an open invitation

you are, as you say, based in the Brecon Beacons.

i JM7/JM07/fumanchu offer on open forum to meet you at the next Brecon ****ole, sorry pony sale, on 20th August.
both myself and my OH will be there, i'll even make you a cup of tea..as the tea there is dreadful.

be nice to meet up and lay a few ghosts?.......your call, as i'm going there anyhow.

JM

I no longer live there fumanchew, I now live in Cumbria. I would like to meet you and lay the ghosts. It is just too far. Yup tea ghastly. Thank you for the invitation all the same. If you find yourself up here, Appleby, I would like to offer the same.

You know, I personaly would never buy a horse privatly, I have always brought from dealers. That said my horses have always cost 3-5k, however generaly i have found dealers to be far more truthfull and honest than most horsey people.

You can spend hours and lots of money looking for a horse, and people are generally liars! at least with a dealer you have recourse if they fib, well at least if you use a decent dealer :)

The last rescue horse i borought (£50) was a scrappy foal, who i sold, once broken for £6k. you never know what these little ones will turn out to be given a decent chance.

BTW absolutly no idea who this lass is, that seems to be causing controversy, but its does tend to be the "older" horsery generation that tend to more more forward and practical about these things. I remeber Harvey Smith once telling a lass off that tried to sell him a Rambo rug, he said "nowt wrong with jute and twine" when she pointed out that Robert had just placed an order he replied "he's a prat then" enough said!!!!

That is spoken by a true northener!

Yoohoo!! *waves*

Pleased to see you xxxxxx

oh well...you now live with the lowest of the low at Appleby...and even this hardened pony slaughterer wouldnt be seen dead at such a ****e hole.

enjoy.

Hi there, are you going to Beaulieu road, in august??:)

And just for the record, and for those of you who would never consider sending a pony on, there are worse fates for horses than potters .

Sorry the olive branch fell on stoney ground, not it that supprised me really. If you look at my previous posts I am as anti the fair as I am you. But I am glad that even you have certain standards!

It is just the fact that HHOers have put her on a pedastil, she is a dealer no more and no less. She is not a charity, they are all sold on if they pass muster, otherwise they end up at the slaughter house, where they were oringinally meant to be. To get the record straight they are not rescued, if there will be no profit, off they go to Potters. So if we can put this in context, she is a dealer!, and a bin end dealer to boot.

I'm sure this will already have been said but again...so what? As long as the ponies are cared for while in her care and good homes found what is your problem?
From what I know of Fumanchu through this forum, only those ponies not suitable for rehoming or unlikely to have a good quality of life are pts. I'm sure that in the grand scheme of things they are very few and far between.

*wanders in*

Nothing wrong with dealers ^^
Infact, i'd quite enjoy doing what FMC does if I had the funds to back me up.
Good on her IMO.

I still don't understand why anyone would have a problem with her  I mean, she's to the point and get's on with it.
I actually fin her very pleasent ^^ well what I saw of her posts, oh how I would love to meet her in person. Would be quite refreshing to actually talk to someone with above average horse sense :)

*runs away*

Ok, so these ponies were put on an open forum and pretty much offered to ANYONE.

I myself could have gone and got them, as could any other HHO'er that had the time / space and money.

NOW had any other forum member gone and collected these ponies, would it have been so wrong?

As far as i can see, the ponies needed a home ASAP.
They will be fed, cared for and sold when the time comes.

IF it was any other person other than FMC that took them (and lets face it, any one of us could have collected them) - would there be a 7 page thread about it?
I doubt it very much.

Whats the point? apart from the bitching and sniping that certain members unleash whenever JM \ FMC is mentioned that is?

Do I need to go back on FB to tell you what you have beat me to? That's pretty much it, as you have said.

Some troublemakers still not happy they got someone banned and can't get over the fact it made them rather unpopular. So they keep coming back and digging the hole they are in even deeper. Can't fathom how that is going to make us forgive, forget or even be civil to them, personally.

Can I ask why certain members on here think it is ok to drag 'bin-end' horses arcross europe, collecting any number of injuries and spreading goodness what diseases, to then sell on. These same members then think that it is wrong for other people to buy cheap animals, assess them honestly, work with and sell on the ones which will have a decent quality of life, while sending the ones which will not make the grade to the slaughter house. I know which option I would prefer for any individual animal and the general equine population of this country.

i dont believe pastie is a dealer, so bit of a nonquestion.

Whether Pastey is a dealer or not is irrelevant, you don't have to be a dealer to buy a horse from a sale ring. Pastey seems to be objecting to what FMC does on some sort of moral high ground which seems illogical as she professes to care so much.

As I see it, Pastey is saying the feral 'farmed' ponies don't seem to deserve the chance that others do simply because they had the misfortune to be born on a mountain, forest or moor, how does that work?

No takers I see! What other thread have I missed?

Why would I? Sorry whoevers filling your head with rubbish is sorely mistaken!!! More fool you for believing it lol

Brilliant so FMC will now sort out these unwanted ponies, get them turned around, give them the life skills they will need to be homed for the rest of their life. I for one think that is great. i certainly do not think she will make any money from them. Yes they only cost her £30 for two. but they are unbroken, need care, farriers, feed, handling etc and huge amounts of time to turn them round. I have no problem whatsoever with people doing this, giving a horse or pony a useful life. I also have no problem whatsoever with horse/ponies being slaughtered if they cannot be healthy. I have met FMC. She appears to me to have a level of common sense which is totally lacking in some people on this forum.
Take out your undisguised hatred for FMC and what is wrong with these ponies having a life?
