Just driving to work this morning and in the middle of the industrial estate outside a car dealership were 2 ponies!
One was tied with a bit of rope to a sign post and the other had gotten loose and was stood eating grass. It's a very built up area and only odd bits of grass so not quite sure why they were left there. I rang the police straight away but they had all ready been notified, assumed this meant they would be on their way round. . . it wasn't until about 12.30 when someone came in to say they were just moving the horses in then.
I cant believe it took over 3 1/2 hours for the police to do anything when it was made quite clear one was loose (and next to the road)
Maybe i should have told them it was yielding a gun and they might have thought it a little more important! Joking aside i would hate to think that if my horse got loose it would be left for that length of time
