I have come across a farmer who my boyfriend works for and he has bought 2 small ponies from market simply (quote) "to make me some money". Unfortunately the farmer hasn't got a clue, he is a beast and sheep farmer and is treating them just, feeding them grass cuttings and some sort of molasses feed for cattle.
They are very little handled and unbroken. They are both fillies biggest one is just under 14.hh,is bay with a white star on her face, she has a nasty scar on one of her front legs possibly from being hobbled or getting trapped in something, she is wearing a headcoller but is very nervous and took me 20 mins before i could get near her to touch her and she has literally been stroked on her neck thats it. Her age is deffinately under 3 but it was difficult for me to tell.
The smaller of the 2 is a foal, (not mother and daughter) i couldn't tell you how old it is, she is a chesnut with white legs and face.
If anyone out there would be able to take theese 2 pretty ponies on and treat them right in the way they deserve please get in touch as they will go for meat otherwise. I would have them but there is no room on my livery yard and i cannot afford them as i have a youngster of my own that is swallowing my money lol!
The farmer has asked £250 for the biggest and £100 for the foal but i have told him there not worth that due to them being like they are, however a horse is a horse to him unbroken or not but he is the 'dealing' sort so i'm sure a price could be agreed.
Please help me find a home for theese 2 pretty girls.
Many Thanks.
