2 prong or 4 prong?

2 prong's no good for mucking out, its just a hay fork, great for putting down straw beds though.

i have a wonderful ancient thing from the dark ages, four prongs but only the width of a 2 prong hay fork, light as a feather and the best thing ever for lifting poo

i always used 2 prong for straw beds but have been using woodchip for many years and find a 4 prong better. had to muck out straw a few weeks ago and used the 4 prong but would have been easier with the 2 prong(if i still had it) :(:(

5 prongs is best. I miss having a pitch fork, only got shavings forks at current yard. But not worth buying one with a shavings bed. It's just easier to throw the beds up and then scoop up the little poos with a shavings fork. Hrm. I think i need to get a life.

I use both, as well as a multipronged (I haven't counted, but more than 20) fork for tidying up the little bits - and shavings!
