2 questions about bits!

To start with, does anyone know where i would be able to get an eggbutt snaffle or a snaffle gag 7" in the medway/kent area, or online? i need one for my ardennes horse. & also another horse i have is in a waterford gag, and flash band bridle. When he is ridden, he clenches hes teeth and doesn't shut his mouth untill the rider has dismounted, does anyone have idea why this could be? The only thing we can think of is bad teeth. He is due with the dentist next week.:)
 
My draft horse wears a NS Universal, which is a gag type bit.

the other horse is obviously uncomfortable in his mouth, a flash noseband will not help that.
 
Thanks for your help with the bit! & we do think it could be a tooth problem, weve recently got him & we're unaware of how long ago he had his teeth last done, hence why the dentist is out next week! we're just wondering if their could be any other problems, the flash is on because his mouth is constantly open when we ride without it, but again that could be due to teeth!:(
 
If he's got a sore mouth then the worst thing you can do is put a flash on, ride bitless or don't ride at all until dentist is out as you may be causing him a lot of discomfort.

Not sure where you'd get a 7" bit from but found lots of 6.5"
 
Thats the problem about having a horse with a big mouth! we havent ridden him for a while, but he gets so much energy when his not ridden! he is like a livewire! Im going to take your advice & not ride, its only a week and we can sort the energy problem with some lunging before riding! thankyou for your help and advice!:)
