Just because its a cob, does not mean it can not jump!
I know of some fab Cob's big Cob's that out jump many SJer type horses.
If its got the scope to jump BSJA, then go in and do BN and take it from there, you can then get an idea of the horses scope to if he can go further..
British Novice is not big at all.
yes of course it can, cobs have amazing jumps and thoroughly enjoy it once theyve cracked it! people really underestimate them, a well schooled cobs is worth tens of thousands and therefore v v hard to find.
Of course they can, and many do, especially in BSJA ponies - CJ's Kemosabi is a piebald cob and he was European team and individual champion! I can think of lots of other good sj ponies that are cobs, coloured and solids.
