2 Stage Vetting Cost & Vet Recommendation (Bedale)

So how much does a 2 stage cost nowadays? I've been quoted £270+ which is over £100 on what I paid 2 years ago! Is that now the going rate?

And following on, anyone recommend any vets around the Bedale area?

Sounds expensive to me. I had one done earlier this year for under £150 with Lambourn Equine. £270 is more 5 stage sort of cost

I've been looking for horses during the past eighteen months, and have paid just over the £200-mark for 2-stage vettings (have had three, all failed ).

Last one was for £215. Most expensive was £250 if my memory serves me correct.

No idea on 2 stage costs but John Sommerville is the vet I have used several times in that area. If you follow eventing you may have heard of his son, Jamie.
