2 stage vetting question

Do they check teeth in a two stage?
What exactly do they check?

Very briefly, unless you state over the phone that you would like them to take extra time with this. The vet I used grabbed hold of the horse's tongue and had a quick look inside with a head torch. He managed to spot a sore on the horses's cheek caused by hooks on the molars, and was able to confirm that the horse did not have wolf teeth. This meant that when I got my horse home (he passed :D), I was prepared to book him an appointment with the dentist as I knew his teeth needed seen to.
