Opinions please...

I am purchasing a horse and have been to view 6/7 so far, had a lot of time and money wasted so far but am just wondering what do people think would be more useful...

having a 2 stage vetting or having a chiropractor come out and look at the horse?

Well, seeing as the chiropractor won't be able to listen to its heart, and as someone who has had one on sale or return that was a bit stuffy so got the chiro out to be told it was ok.

Got the vet to vet it, had a HUGE heart murmer, could have dropped at any time.

TBH I'd have been better off having the horses i've bought farriered than vetted! ;)

At least two of them would have failed and it would have saved me a lot of money.

Vet.

Though would be interesting to see what a chiro would come up with when it's a session that wouldn't be open to the treatments following the work-up [due to not being called out by owner] ;)

Vet. why would you want someone other than a vet?
