Hello everyone! I have two wonders!
Little grey pony has always had faecal water issues. It’s pretty bad atm and I’m not sure why. Usually I know it’s the hay or something. This time I really have no idea.
He has s tiny handful of nuts to give his pracsend in but I can’t mix a scoop of powder into it. Is there a good pelleted digestive supplement that I could try?
Next, for little old toothless pony.
Someone offered me one of those pretty gross looking molassey bucket licks, my instant reaction was to turn it down politely.
However I then thought maybe she might like something like that.
She can’t eat hay. So I thought maybe in between feeds it might give her a little something to do!
Never in a million years would I give a horse a block of sugar, but wondered if it may be ok for her introduced very slowly because she is having so little food (in comparison to a regular pony with a big haynet and who can graze more efficiently)
Or, more ideally is there a healthy big block type lick I could try? Something that’s not pure sugar but she’s not really interested in the salt they already have available so not salt based either.
A giant pony cube to lick and suck at would be ideal!
Thank you!
