Laura you are just so lovely, well done, the little man is a credit to you! Now tell me straight, what is your secret for looking so young? I know you are 28, but hell you look 16! Perhaps its because you are such a nice and unbittered person. Go on TELL ME!
 
This is such a lovely post Laura. I am so pleased that you are doing so well with Herbie, you have worked so very hard and been through an awful lot, what with losing Lucy, I understand how terrible that was for you. I am so pleased you and Herbie have progressed so well, here is to many more happy years ahead x

Merry Crisis I'm not shore to be honest. But I normaly put it down to the fact that I've always done a job I loved, never worn makeup and I don't drink or smoke :) My mum on the otherhand put's it down to the perminant mud pack I wear ;) Mums you gotta love 'em :p :D :D
 
Lovely post laura! Had me in tears too!

I have a similar storry with a forest bred NF - I bought him unseen/untried on a months trial as I had just had surgery and couldn't ride for a while... We heard the trailer coming from miles away he was making such a racket, he'd kicked it to pieces - we had to let him loose out the trailer as he attcked anyone that went near him - he's the first pony I ever would have described as evil! Things went from bad to worse, and I should have sent him back! But I kept him - went through absolute hell with him that first year - he'd had 4 owners in 18 months, he was only 5....

We are now 5yrs on, and he's incredible and had been very successful in the show ring and dressage arena- I wouldn't swap him for the world!

I'm sure you have lots more even better times ahead with your boy :)
 
Inspirational! What a wonderful partnership you have...& so admirable that you never gave up on him like the many previous owners did. I'm sure you'll have many more achievements over the next 2 yrs too.
